Seamon Moore Estate Packet: 1857 |
Very little was found about Seamon Moore. He does not appear in the 1850 Itawamba County census and had died before the 1860 census. However, the 1860 census shows his children were living with Thomas and Nancy Deaton. The probate records show that Nancy Deaton was a daughter of Seamon Moore. By looking at the 1860 census it is evident that Seamon Moore brought his family to Itawamba County about 1854 from Alabama. He settled in the Plantersville area (which later became Lee County). Before living in Alabama the family was living in Georgia. |
